The Hauwei EchoLife H8245W5-8T is a routing-type Optical Network Terminal (ONT). It uses the GPON technology to implement ultra-broadband access for users. It provides 4 GE ports, 2 POTS ports, 1 USB port and 2.4G & 5G WiFi ports.

KH3 subscribed to MTN's fiber broadband service in early 2021 and the device was supplied a part of the service bundle by MTN.
